In 2006, Fun Fun Fun Fest booked its first set of acts in downtown Austin and it didn't take long for it to become the darling of independent festivals for music lovers and music makers in the United States. Throughout the years, Fun Fun Fun Fest has become renowned for its musical lineup, as well as its collection of comedy, food, action sports, and poster art experiences.

Now in it's ninth year and recognized as one of the most relaxed, creative, and pioneering festivals in music today, Fun Fun Fun Fest is custom booked for the most passionate, underground, and progressive musicians, comedians and fans around the world.

YELLE

November 7 - Blue Stage

Since 2007, French electro-popper Yelle has risen to be a leading lady in the world of European pop music. With a keen interest in fashion and feel for popular culture, she's been able to take her quirky sound from her French roots to the world at large, playing some of the biggest festivals and farthest flung cities. With two albums - Pop Up and Safari Disco Club - and countless live shows around the world under her belt, It's hard to think of any other current artists that have managed to go global in the way Yelle has, whilst singing entirely in their native language, but this is one girl whose beautifully melodic compositions seem translate. Whether or not fans have any idea what she is actually singing about! 2014 will see her return with a third album which she will start giving fans a glimpse at at select festivals starting as soon as this spring.

Yann Tiersen

November 8 - Orange Stage

Hailing from Brittany, Yann Tiersen is one of the most revered artists of his generation with a reputation first established by his studio albums (which included 1997 Cascade Street 1998’s The Lighthouse andto 2005’s Les Retrouvailles). The early albums were combined and used for the Amelie soundtrack (2001), earning him global recognition. Yann Tiersen releases his 8th studio album entitled ∞ (Infinity) on May 19th on Mute Records.

Yann Tiersen will also be performing in Houston at the Warehouse Live - November 7 - Houston, TX - Warehouse Live

Tinariwen

November 9 - Orange Stage

The desert is a place of hardship and subtle beauty, a stark world that reveals its secrets slowly and carefully. Life in the desert is resilient and strong, and the people are gentle giants among the sand, storms, and sun. For Saharan blues band Tinariwen, the desert is their home, and their hypnotic and electrifying guitar rock reflects complex realities of their homebase in North West Africa.

Tinariwen will also be performing in Houston at the Warehouse Live - November 7 - Houston, TX - Warehouse Live
