French singer/songwriter Laetitia Sadier will be in concert at 3 locations around the Southwest between August 19th and 26th: Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles and Denver, CO. Best known for her haunting and elegant vocals in the legendary band Stereolab, Sadier is now touring her solo projects.

Inspired by lounge-pop, bossa nova, film music and Krautrock, Stereolab formed in the early 90s when Sadier moved to London with Tim Gane. With Sadier's distinctive hypnotic vocals and leftist lyrics, the band earned critical acclaim for its albums from the beginning. At the same time, Sadier began recording her own projects as well as collaborated with other artists. She began working on her first solo album in 2009, and "The Trip" was released in 2010. Two years later, the more introspective and political "Silencio" was realeased. Sadier also formed another musical group called The Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble that released its first album this year and features musicians such as Thayer, Emmanuel Mario, Xavi Munoz, Phil M.F.U. and Mason LeLong.
