"Le Salon de Musiques - Masters Redisvovered" Seventh Season: GRAND OPENING CONCERT

Famed for its warmly intimate and interactive stage-free musical experience, and described like “the Nectar of Chamber Music,” of Los Angeles, “LE SALON DE MUSIQUES” Grand Opening celebrates three Genius Masters, Ludwig VAN BEETHOVEN, Franz SCHUBERT & Guillaume LEKEU, featuring an exquisite Chamber Music Program for String Quintet on Sunday October 2nd at 4:00 PM.

Introduced by its new Musicologist Kristi BROWN-MONTESANO, the program will be performed by a remarkable quintet, consisting of William HAGEN and Jessica GUIDERI, Violens, Rob BROPHY, Viola, and Robert de Maine and John WALZ, Cellos.

As usual, the performance will be followed by a Q & A between the audience and the artists, with a French Champagne reception and a High Tea Gourmet Buffet catered by Patina.

Directed by French-American Concert Pianist, CEO and Founding Artistic Director François CHOUCHAN, with co-Artistic Director Cellist John WALZ, the 9 concerts Series opens his Seventh Series on October 2nd, 2016 and will close on Sunday June 4th, 2017.

7th Season Opening Programe :

  • LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN: String Quartet n.9 in C Major OP 59 n.3

  • GUILLAUME LEKEU: "Molto Adagio" for String Quartet "US Premiere"  String Quartet

  • Franz SCHUBERT: String Quartet in C Major D 956

  • About “Le Salon de Musiques”:

Inspired by “Le Salon de Musique” created by Queen MARIE-ANTOINETTE in Versailles, and by the “SCHUBERTIADES” created by Franz SCHUBERT in Vienna, “Le Salon de Musiques - Masters Rediscovered” is a unique musical experience—one like no other in Los Angeles. You can definitely feel the real “Essence” of Chamber Music. By removing the stage and putting the artists next to the audience, each performance is a very personal and intimate experience. Each concert is being performed on the 5th floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. An informal Q & A with the artists follows the performance and a Gourmet Buffet catered by Patina with French Champagne is served. Large round tables are dressed, where people can seat around, mingle with the artists, share their emotions, and meet new friends.

Tickets are $85 for Regular, and $45 for Students
