July 13, 2015 | By Francerocks

One of the most anticipated music events every summer in New York City, Moma PS1 Warm Up is back, including five of the biggest names on the French electro scene in 2015.

Here are the French acts and the dates in which they will play:

7/18 – Busy P b2b Boston Bun @ MoMA PS1 Warm-Up, Long Island City, NY [3PM-9PM]
8/15 – Brodinski, Bambounou, & French Fries @ MoMA PS1 Warm Up, Long Island City [3-9PM]

Bambounou – 8/15 @ MoMA PS1 Warm Up, LIC w/French Fries [3-9PM]

Bambounou is one of the two French elements of the 50 Weapons label, skillfully run by duet Modeselektor since 2012. At the age of only 24, 7 EPs and an album (“Orbiting” – 50 Weapons) behind him, Bambounou has quickly emerged as one of the major acts on the French and European house and techno scenes. His productions, widely inspired by the Chicago, Detroit and London scenes, have already proven his talent. France Rocks Page

Boston Bun – 7/18 @ MoMA PS1 Warm Up, LIC w/Busy P [3-9PM]

Boston Bun discovered electronic music on TV when he was 16 years old. He watched video clips by the Chemical Brothers, The Detroit Grand Pubahs and Basement Jaxx. It became obvious to him: he would be a director of strange videos. Website

Brodinski - 8/15 @ MoMA PS1 Warm Up, LIC w/Bambounou & French Fries [3-9PM]

Ever since Brodi was considered as the new kid on the block, championed at a tender age by such heavyweights as Busy P., 2 Many DJ’s, Tiga and Erol Alkan, he made it his mission to share a healthy obsession with quality dance music with as much people possible. He carries the torch of the new French electro scene.

Resident DJ at La Favela Chic at 14 with a first release at the age of 16, he’s now legal and, just like his Inca ancestors, he turns everything he touches into gold. Breaktrough artist of the 2010 WMC without even crossing the ocean, his track Senta was a big hit and made its way into every artist’s set under the Miami sun. Website
