FACE Contemporary Theater and FUSED: Application Call 2020

FACE Contemporary Theater and FUSED Application Calls for 2020-2021 Projects is now open.

FACE Contemporary Theater

American and French institutions can apply for funding for theater projects (residency, production and tour) taking place between June 1st, 2020 and August 31, 2021.

Deadline for applications: February 2nd, 2020

FACE Contemporary Theater fosters innovative artistic collaborations and co-productions in theater, and contributes to a dynamic intercultural dialogue between France and the United States. It aims to encourage projects that push aesthetic boundaries and reflect the cultural and artistic diversity seen in theater today.

Theater projects include text-based and multidisciplinary theater, young audience theater productions, contemporary circus, puppetry, and street/outdoors theater. Special attention will be given to projects in public spaces.  Detailed Information is available HERE 

FUSED (French U.S. Exchange in Dance)

American and French institutions can now apply for funding for dance projects (residence, production and tour) taking place between June 1st, 2020, and August 31, 2021. Deadline for applications: February  2nd, 2020.

FUSED: French U.S. Exchange in Dance fosters dialogue, strengthens professional relationships, and sparks creative artistry through cultural exchanges by introducing choreographers and performers whose works had never or rarely been seen in the partner country.

For both programs,  the goal is to support artists with varied backgrounds and influences, in order to promote a multiplicity of voices and foster a rich intercultural dialogue.
