Camping 2017 at the CND, Pantin

The third edition of Camping, an annual event of the Centre National de la Danse standing as an artistic foray into an institutional space, will take place in Paris and Lyon from June 19 to June 30, 2017. Camping is an international workshop platform – a unique experience in Europe involving meetings with artists from the international dance scene, an artistic camp by which dance can be experienced through poetry. Created two years ago by Mathilde Monnier, director of the Centre national de la Danse, Camping is the missing link between higher education, dance community and the public. Open towards other artistic disciplines, Camping encourages the poetic experience of dance, theatre, performance and visual art. For two weeks in Pantin, Paris and Lyon, Camping offers classes, workshops, talks, performances, screenings and public presentations. Camping is for everyone connected to dance and the arts: students, teachers, professional artists or researchers, as well as amateurs and spectators, adults and children. Workshops Simon Mayer, Raimund Hoghe, Miguel Gutierrez, Fanny de Chaillé, Deborah Hay, Gisèle Vienne, Marco Berrettini, Emmanuelle Huynh, Alessandro Sciarroni, L’Amicale de production, Marie-José Malis, João Fiadeiro, Vera Mantero, Joris Lacoste et Jeanne Revel, Dominique Brun, Volmir Cordeiro, Gaëlle Bourges, Elsa Wolliaston, Vincent Dupont, Arno Schuitemaker, Takao Kawaguchi, Sylvie Fortin, Marc Tompkins, Mathurin Bolze, Cindy Van Acker, Jean-Luc Verna, Jan Kopp Performances Mithkal Alzghair, Katerina Andreou, Robert Cantarella, Raimund Hoghe, Takao Kawaguchi, Mikiko Kawamura, Simon Mayer, Maki Morishita, Arno Schuitemaker, Ana Rita Teodoro, Gisèle Vienne.
