Do Disturb At Le Palais De Tokyo

Palais de Tokyo in Paris announces the first edition of its new annual performance festival: DO DISTURB. For this first edition, Palais de Tokyo has invited guest contributions from MoMA PS1, Tate Modern, Matadero Madrid, Centre national des arts plastiques (CNAP, Paris),  49 Nord 6 Est – Frac Lorraine and Berghain (Berlin), which have partaken in curating this non-stop festival.

Starting at 6pm on Friday, April 10, both at night and during the day, 70 international artists will take over Palais de Tokyo until 8pm on Sunday, April 12. At the crossroads between dance, music, video and performance, they will provide an insight into contemporary forms of the performing arts, breaking down barriers between artistic disciplines and pushing boundaries. The event features new creations and works being premiered in France. You will be able to see works of Jérôme Bel, Pierre Bismuth, Olivier Cadiot, Boris Charmatz, Joan Jonas and Julien Prévieux among many others. Note also that Stéphane Thidet and Julien Bismuth, who are part of A Night of Philosophy at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York on April 24, will present a special work at Le Palais de Tokyo for the occasion.
