FRENCH HIGHLIGHTS 2019

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States and FACE (French American Cultural Exchange) Foundation are pleased to present the 5th edition of French Highlights, a selection of French productions presented by leading cultural institutions including Abrons Arts Center, The Public Theater’s Under The Radar Festival, The Bitter End, Nublu, and Brooklyn Academy of Music.

In conjunction with New York City winter festivals and APAP Conference, French Highlights features some of France’s most creative jazz and theater artists, with a focus this year on puppetry and contemporary plays. French Highlights is also expanding outside of New York to cover events in Philadelphia during IPAY-International Performing Arts for Youth, and in Chicago during the International Puppet Theater Festival where several French companies will be presented.

Through the lens of performance and music, audiences can engage with French or France-based artists who push the boundaries of aesthetics and personal identity. We sincerely thank all of our partners and sponsors for their commitment to French-American cultural exchange.

We are delighted to, together, foster diversity and inclusion through the performing art.
