French dance companies revive Merce Cunningham's repertory:

"Sounddance" (1975) and "Fabrications" (1987) are now included in Ballet de Lorraine's repertory and were recently performed  at The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, and at Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, as part of the exhibition Merce Cunningham: Common Time.

Lyon Opera Ballet (LOB) remounted  "Beach Birds" (1991) a few years ago; "Winterbranch" (1964) and  "Summerspace" (1958) are now part of LOB's repertory. "Summerspace" was shown in New York (as PTAM Dance Company's guest artist).

The company from Centre national de danse contemporaine (CNDC)-Angers, led by Robert Swinston  will perform "Place" (1966), "How to Pass, Kick, Fall and Run" (1965), and "Inlets 2" (1983) at The Joyce Theater, New York, between April 4 and 9

And in April, in Paris,  "Walkaround Time" (1968) will be performed by the Paris Opera Ballet repertory.
