LES COMMUNS is a duet that explores the encounter with the other. Two dancers, who have known each other for many years, meet onstage to explore the possibilities and the limitations of their relationship.

Cédric Andrieux, a magna cum laude graduate from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, danced for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company from 1999 to 2007. He also worked with RoseAnne Spradlin, Chantal Yzermans, and was part of the New York cast of Alain Buffard's "Mauvais Genre." In 2007, he joined the Lyon Opera Ballet where he performed numerous contemporary pieces. The artist Jérôme Bel created the eponymous solo "Cédric Andrieux for Andrieux" and in collaboration with him. Andrieux also worked with French directors Christophe Honoré and Mathilde Monnier and is currently working with Daniel Linehan.

Christophe Ives studied at Cafedanse in Aix-en-Provence and at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. He has collaborated with Maïté Fossen, Lluis Ayet, Frédéric Gies, Joanne Leighton, Daniel Larrieu, Fanny de Chaillé, Martine Pisani, Alain Buffard, Thomas Bauer, Herman Diephuis, Boris Charmatz, Vera Mantero, Emmanuelle Huynh, and Christian Rizzo.
