Under the artful eye of photographer/filmmaker Andrew Zuckerman, Chamber's new collection Collection #2  "Human | Nature" explores how nature interacts with the built environment and investigates how objects have a transformative effect on our lives. It showcases customized contemporary design pieces, specially commissioned unique editions, and historic objects.
The exhibit features French artists as the experimental designer Marlène Huissoud, and perfumer Yann Vasnier.

Influenced by every kind of natural element—shapes, materials, texture, patterns—London based, French-born artist Marlène Huissoud is an experimental designer with an innovative approach to product design. She believes in the value of concept as it relates to the overall creative process. She attended the National School of Design & Fine Art in Lyon, then Central Saint Martins in London. After graduating with an MA in Material Futures, Marlène founded her own company in 2013 and was named one of the United Kingdom’s top 70 rising design stars for the future of British Design by the London Design Council. Her work has been featured in Dezeen, Design Milk, Icon, Viewpoint, among other publications; and has been exhibited worldwide in major institutions such as Design Museum Barcelona, Artipelag Museum Stockholm, Gallery Bensimon Paris.

Born and raised in Israel, designer and ceramicist Amir Smolnik grew up in a place where nature was never far away. He arrived in Paris in 1997 to study at the École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode, where he obtained a degree in menswear design. Initially as a hobby, he arrived at ceramics by enrolling in pottery-throwing classes because he was drawn to clay as a primitive, earthy medium due to his youth spent amongst ancestral archaeological sites filled with ceramics and pottery. Working out of a studio near the Place de la République in Paris, he designs clothing and accessories, works as an art director, collaborates with set designers, and dedicates the rest of his time to clay and ceramics.

Scent is key and the most vivid component of a memory for perfumer Yann Vasnier, and the first memories of scent for him were neither exotic or glamorous—green grass, rain, freshly baked bread and the ocean’s saltwater in his hometown of Rennes, Brittany in western France. Vasnier was trained at ISIPCA, a prestigious perfumery school in Versailles, where he graduated as Valedictorian in 1999. While working as a perfumer in Paris, he received the International Young Perfumer Award in 2001, before joining Givaudan in New York, a Swiss manufacturer of flavors, fragrances and cosmetic ingredients. Vasnier has created fragrances for Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Tom Ford, and Comme des Garçons, among others.
