La Couleuvre (Saint-Ouen, France) and Radiator Gallery (Brooklyn, New York) organize an exhibition exchange. These two independent contemporary spaces will be presenting The Left Over Method respectively on September 6th, 2013 in New York and on September 20th, 2013 in Saint-Ouen.

The Left Over Method - Changing location, moving and chosing what to take with you, or not. What do you move when you change location ? Which artwork do you chose if your transportation is limited to certain conditions ? How do you adapt it in a new working space ?

The Left Over Method is about thinking the art in terms of transformation, adaptation, changes and choices.

The Exhibitions concept

The two exhibitions will be presenting singular works, from young artists living in France in the New York exhibition, and from artists living in New York in the Saint-Ouen exhibition. The Left Over Method was thought as an experience of the physical in the "cyberworld" we are living in. The exchange exhibition highlights the movement as a source of information about an artist's work and creation.
