Based out of Cornish, NH and performing from a 32' box truck that folds out into a stage, Momentum Theatre Troupe is dedicated to bringing bold, innovative, and challenging theatre to as diverse an audience as possible. This summer's repertoire includes Juliet and her Romeo, Artistic Director Sean Eastman's own reworking of the Shakespeare classic; Chekhov's one act The Proposal; and an original piece titled Own Life directed by guest consulting artist Malik Rumeau and inspired by George Orwell's 1984.

Below you will find a list of their tour dates, times, and locations in New England. Unless otherwise noted, all three plays will be performed at each performance.

Sean Eastman has and continues to be greatly involved in theatre, whether it is as actor, director, teacher or student. While studying at Sarah Lawrence College, he took a year abroad to study at l’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. While in Paris, Sean co-founded the Pirate Theatre (an international improvisation troupe) and Prospero’s Wagon Players (a Shakespearean street theatre troupe). Malik Rumeau joins MTT for the second time from Paris, France as part of their international artists exchange program. Malik holds diplomas from l'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, and Keral Kalamandalam National Academy of Arts in South India. Malik is very accomplished and since 2013 he’s the artistic director of the Festival ThéâtreTalents that aims to spot and broadcast emerging theatre troupes for Paris’ region.
