The winners of the 2017 Architizer A+Awards, which include David Adjaye, Odile Decq and Tatiana Bilbao, will be honoured during a special event during the NYCxDesign festival next month.

With its goal to nurture the appreciation of meaningful architecture, the A+Awards present Special Honoree awards to a small group of key influencers each year. These honorees are chosen for their extraordinary contributions to the fields of architecture and design, and highlight projects and creations that are championing architecture’s potential to positively impact everyday life.

The French architect Odil Decq will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, for works such as Confluence Institute for Innovation and Creative Studies.

The gala will take place on May 11, 2017 to celebrate the fifth edition of the annual awards, which acknowledge and promote the year's best architecture projects, spaces, and products from across the globe.
