The 17th Boston Early Music Festival, described by The Times as the “the world’s leading festival of early music", will present a spectacular selection of French Baroques pieces, ensembles and artists:

-Violin virtuoso Amandine Beyer and her chamber ensemble Gli Incogniti will perform at the New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall, Boston, MA, on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 5pm, with a program entitled Viennoiseries: Austrian Music in the Stylus Phantasticus from the 17th century. -The Festival will also present Marc-Antoine Charpentier's La Descente d’Orphée aux Enfers at the New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall, Boston, MA, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 8pm.  Click here for more information.

-Gilbert Blin will direct Handel's Almira, at the Cutler Majestic Theater at Emerson College, Boston, MA, from Sunday, June 9 to Sunday, June 16, 2013. Click here for more information.

Rémy-Michel Trotier will also lecture on Rameau and international artists such as Gonzalo Ruiz, Elizabeth Kenny and Robert Mealy will bring back to life the exquisite sounds of the 17th and 18th century Versailles. Click here for the Festival's schedule of events.
