A Season of Performing Arts Interviews
This summer is the perfect time for you to catch up on all the interviews we've done throughout the year. We've selected three of those interviews, with people who have not only been supported by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy but will be involved in the performing arts in New York this fall.
Florent Masse, who we interviewed last August about the third edition of his French theater festival in Princeton Seuls en Scène will return for the fourth edition starting in September.
We also interviewed French visual artist and director Gisèle Vienne, who presented Kindertotenlieder at New York Live Arts last year and will present her latest work The Ventriloquists Convention this fall. This work received a grant from FACE's Contemporary Theater Fund and will be presented in Los Angeles and Chicago next November.
French director Arthur Nauzyciel will present an exclusive reading of Jean Genet’s Splendid’s at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy next October. Before it comes, you can read our interview with Nauzyciel from when he staged Faim at Seuls en Scène festival last year.
