Campus France USA

July/August 2020

Campus France USA - Embassy of France in the United States

What we do:

Campus France USA is a French governmental agency based at the French Embassy in Washington D.C. We promote French higher education in the US, including study abroad, degree programs, FLE, art programs, and more.

We advise and support students as they apply to degree programs in France, and also help study abroad students in the pre-consular portion of their student visa application.

We connect with universities and study abroad providers across the US to support students.

Your role:

  • Identify new ways to engage with future study abroad students across the US on Facebook and Instagram
  • Propose ways to use Stories to cultivate a more active public
  • Design strategies and analytics to grow and track Campus France USA's following on Facebook and Instagram
  • Use our existing design materials to propse interactive campaigns along a content calendar
  • Be part of our wonderful bilingual team at the French Embassy in the United States (virtually!)

Flexible schedule:

  • 10-20 hours per week, flexible hours, regular virtual team meetings
  • This is an unpaid internship, but a chance to grow your professional portfolio

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for a student with a passion for international education, a keen creative sense, and sophisticated competencies in social media community management on Instagram and Facebook. Past or planned study experiences in France are a plus, but not required.

How to apply:

Applicants should send a CV, cover letter, and an example of their Instagram and Facebook style to natalie.cox@ambafrance-us.org by July 5 to be considered.
