Louis Rigaud

Louis Rigaud graduated at the school of Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg in 2009. Since then, he has been working as a graphic and multimedia designer. In addition to websites, he creates and develops interactive games. Froog was launched in July 2014 and already has 10,000 users. He also directs short animated films for the television show Karambolage on the Arte channel. Amongst other productions, he worked on directing and animating the 26-episodes tv-series L’Abécédaire de la Chimie (The Alphabet Primer of Chemistry).

In collaboration with his friend, illustrator and graphic designer Anouck Boisrobert, they published three pop-up books at Hélium publishing house: Popville, Dans la forêt du paresseux, and Océano. They also designed an illustrated accordion book after Paul Eluard’s poem Liberté.

Central to Louis Rigaud’s work is his will to create playful objects with surprising and interactive elements for all audiences. In 2011, Anouck Boisrobert and Louis Rigaud invented a picture book, which brought together digital screens and paper in a very amusing and educational way: Tip tap : mon imagier interactif.

Louis Rigaud will participate in the France/Atlanta Festival on October 28th and 29th.
