COLCOA French Film Festival is back!

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and The Consulate General of France in Los Angeles are pleased to announce the 23rd edition of the COLCOA French Film Festival, which will take place from Monday, September 23 to Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Directors Guild of America on Sunset Boulevard.

As part of the international reach of French culture, COLCOA (City of Light, City of Angels) presents over thirty featured movies, dozens of short films and documentaries, as well as TV programs. Most of these screenings will precede their releases both in France and the U.S. The festival’s main goals are to promote cross-cultural understanding between France and the United States, to introduce an American audience to talented French filmmakers, and to highlight the diversity, richness, and creativity of the French film industry.

From the very beginning, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy have supported the organization of this major event. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the most important and largest international festivals dedicated to French cinema in the world.
