Silent Film Fridays: The Artist

The Los Angeles Public Library is hosting a screening at Central Library of Michel Hazanavicius' Academy Award® winning The Artist. A 2011 French comedy-drama film, set in Hollywood in 1927, and focusing on the relationship of an older silent film star and a rising young actress as silent cinema falls out of fashion and is replaced by the "talkies".

The screening will take place on Friday, November 15, from 3:00pm - 4:30pm.
