The Afro-Atlantic Playwrights Festival - NYU

The Camargo Foundation hosts a roundtable discussion to close the Afro-Atlantic Playwrights Festival, a collaboration with NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Department of Drama. With playwrights France-Luce Benson (Haiti and the USA) and Zainabou Jallo (Nigeria and Switzerland); the Director of the Project for the Camargo Foundation Carlyle Brown; and the Tisch head of Diversity Michael McElroy (NYU). The directors of the readings will also be present. Moderated by NYU Professor Judith Miller, a specialist in French and African theatre. The roundtable will address the influence of the diaspora experience on playwrights from both sides of the Atlantic.
