Jérôme Bel at ICA MIAMI

ICA Miami presents a limited-engagement performance of Company, Company, the Miami debut for the renowned French choreographer Jérôme Bel. Featuring a cast of local professionals and amateurs of diverse backgrounds and skill levels, Company, Company imagines choreography as a “flexible framework,” (Jérôme Bel).

About Jérôme Bel
Jérôme Bel (b. 1964, Montpellier, France) is a dancer and choreographer whose body of work notably includes Jérôme Bel (1995), Shirtology (1997), Véronique Doisneau (2004), and Gala (2015). Bel’s works have been widely performed both at home and abroad and in collaboration with esteemed institutions, such as the Opéra National de Paris, the ballet of the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Bel’s performances have been featured in acclaimed festivals and exhibitions including the Festival d’Avignon and dOCUMENTA (13). Bel has received a Bessie Award (2005), the Routes Princess Margriet Award for Cultural Diversity of the European Cultural Foundation (2005) and a Swiss Dance Award among others.
