Someone, Somewhere

In their online French Cinémathèque streaming program , the Avalon Theatre presents Someone, Somewhere (Deux moi).

Someone, Somewhere / Deux moi

By Cédric Klapisch

2019 - France - 110 min.

Rémy and Mélanie are two thirty-year-olds who live in the same Parisian neighborhood. She racks up dates on social networks that lead nowhere while he struggles to meet anyone. Both are victims of the loneliness of big cities, in a hyper-connected world where one would think meeting someone would be easier. Two individuals, two different paths. Living in close proximity but strange to each other, shall the two ever meet?

In this romantic movie, famous director Cédric Klapisch reinvents romantic comedy in a sweet urban tale about today’s youth.

Tickets will be on sale on May 1st.

In French with English subtitles
