Conversation With Chantal Thomas and François Noudelmann

Chantal Thomas is a novelist, scriptwriter and essayist. She received the Femina prize for Les Adieux à la reine, her first great success. She is a specialist of 18th century literature, especially of Sade and Casanova. She was just coopted by the Académie française. She will speak abour her three latest books: East Village Blues (Seuil 2019), Café Vivre (Seuil 2020) et De Sable et de neige (Mercure de France 2021).

François Noudelmann is a French philosopher, professor, and radio producer at France Culture. He is a renowned Jean-Paul Sartre scholar and wrote his doctoral dissertation on the role of the image in Sartre’s philosophical thought.
