KC MOlière: 400 in 2022 Presents Tartuffenthrope! by Philip 'Blue Owl' Hooser

KC MOlière: 400 in 2022 presents an original play by Philip 'Blue Owl' Hooser. It's an official Missouri Bicentennial event to celebrate and honor the founding of Kansas City and the commemoration of the François Chouteau and Native American Heritage Fountain by the City of Fountains Foundation.

This Missouri Bicentennial year is also the 400th anniversary of the French playwright, Molière's, birth. KC MOlière: 400 in 2022 seeks to recognize the contributions of the great writer, as well as the incorporation of French culture to the Native cultural roots of Missouri.

The François Chouteau and Native American Heritage Fountain is a new jewel in Kansas City's crown, just in time for Missouri’s 2021 Bicentennial. A beautiful new park in the Northland will depict and commemorate the the French trader François Chouteau and the Native Americans who founded the city when they built a trading post here in 1821.

This event is FREE and open to the public. REGISTRATION required via Eventbrite.
