Champs-Élysées Film Festival in Chicago

University of Chicago and the Alliance Francaise present the third edition of Champs-Élysées Film Festival in October. The film festival aims to be a bridge between French and American cinematography as well as defend emerging talents.

Founded in 2012 by Sophie Dulac, Champs-Élysées Film Festival is the only French and American independent film festival in France and the largest film festival in Paris. Dedicated to the public and to the discovery of new talents, the festival aims to be a bridge between French and American cinematography as well as provide a space for young creators of both cinematography and music to meet. At the heart of the festival, the full length and short film competitions aim to highlight new works offering a panorama of the latest independent productions from both countries. Champs-Élysées Film Festival fervently defends emerging talents, freedom of tone, areas of experimentation and cinematographic trials.
