Caravan Palace at Warsaw, Brooklyn and Irving Plaza

As part of FranceRocks Summerfest 2017, a French music festival co-presented by The Bureau Export, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, and France Rocks, in partnership with a network of major venues and institutions, French band Caravan Palace will perform on July, 6, 2107, at Warsaw, Brooklyn, and on July, 7, 2017, at Irving Plaza.

Caravan Palace is a French electro-swing band based in Paris, appreciated for both their musical virtuosity and their sheer ability to deliver a ballistic good time. Having originally formed in 2005, the band’s eponymous debut album in 2008 set the tone – a rip-roaring party, bursting with fun and good humor. Their third album was released in late 2015. The band’s influences include Django Reinhardt, Lionel Hampton and Daft Punk among others.

FranceRocks Summerfest returns June 1-July 13!

Co-presented by The Bureau Export, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, and France Rocks, in partnership with a network of major venues and institutions, the French music festival—the largest in the US—will showcase the expansive wealth of diverse musical talent coming out of France. Over 30 artists spanning genres from indie pop, rock and electronic to jazz, and world music, will perform free and ticketed shows at over 20 venues ranging from Central Park SummerStage to the most intimate performance spaces throughout New York City.
