Cyrano de Bergerac

Laemmle Theatres presents a screening of Edmond Rostand's play Cyrano de Bergerac, directed by Denis Podalydès and performed by La Comédie-Française. This transportation from stage to screen is a part of Laemmle Theatres' "Culture Vulture" program, which seeks to bring the world of ballet, opera, stage, and fine art to the big screen.

The play is the fictionalization of the life of Cyrano de Bergerac, who was a real person. Cyrano is cursed with a prominent nose but gifted with words. He uses this talent to help handsome Christian win Roxane’s heart, whom he also loves.

The screenings are in French with English subtitles.
