Benoit Cohen Book Signing

On Thursday May 31, 2018 the Alliance Française de Los Angeles is hosting a free book signing and a wine and cheese reception at the Alliance Française in honor of Benoit Cohen’s most recent novel, “Mohammad, ma mère et moi.”

Benoit Cohen is a French producer, director, and writer who is best known for his novel “Yellow Cab” which he wrote in preparation for one of his movies based off his experiences driving in New York through Manhattan, The Bronx, and Brooklyn as a taxi in pursuit of the highly coveted “American Dream.”

In addition to his popular novel “Yellow Cab,” he recently released another novel about his personal experiences regarding Donald Trump’s presidency and his experience with refugees and migrants. In “Mohammad, ma mère et moi,” he wrote about his mother who decided to welcome an Afghan migrant in her home, and describes the joyful relationship between the two of them in a humorous and eye-opening manner. The novel also takes a strong stance against the United States president's efforts to close the borders to refugees and migrants.

Don’t miss out on opportuntity to join the discussion with the Alliance Française on May 31 and hear more about Benoit Cohen’s novels, adventures, and experiences at the book signing.

Books will be available for sale in French & English!
RSVP to admin@afdela.orgbefore May 25
