This February, don't miss out on the wonderful art fairs occurring in Los Angeles, featuring many French galleries that will be exhibiting works this month.

Firstly, Art Los Angeles Contemporary, or ALAC, will be taking place from February 13 to 17, 2019 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. This will be the 10th edition of ALAC’s art fair, with a focus on Los Angeles galleries.

At ALAC 2019, there will be several exhibitors featuring pieces from French galleries including Praz Delavallade (who will be showing work by French artist Thomas Fougeirol whose painting is pictured above), Ceysson & Bénétière (who will be showing work by French artist Lionel Sabatté), Galerie Derouillon, Gilles Drouault Galerie, M+B, and Bonny Poon. PACT, a French art gallery, will also be presenting the works of Ethan Greenbaum

In addition to ALAC, Frieze Los Angeles is another art fair taking place from February 15 to 17, 2019. This event features French galleries including Ghebaly Gallery (who will be showing work by French-Algerian artist Neïl Beloufa), Galerie Perrotin, among others that also have a presence in Paris, such as Thaddaeus Ropac. Frieze Los Angeles will be held at Paramount Pictures Studios, a historic studio lot located in Hollywood.

Finally, Felix LA Art Fair is a contemporary art fair that will be debuting from February 13 to 17, 2019. Hosted at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, many are anticipated to attend the fair’s first event. Artists will be featured throughout the entire hotel, occupying all spaces from the guest rooms to the swimming pool up to the thirteenth floor.

M+B and Le Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA) are two of the many French exhibitors that will be at Felix LA. CPGA’s stand is supported by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and is part of their artistic series, Ceci n’est pas…
