Fanny Azzuro at NY Music Foundation Gala

In 2019, New York Piano Festival is celebrating its 10 year anniversary. On June 28th, the Festival will present a gala fundraiser at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall featuring performers who have participated in the festival. Among them, the French pianist Fanny Azzuro will perform pieces from Debussy and Kapustin. 

Program will include piano solo, violin, clarinet, voice masterpieces.

Gala concert performers include David Krakauer (clarinet) and Kathleen Tagg (piano), six times Latin Grammy Winner Carlos Franzetti (piano), Mexican Baritone Jose Adan Perez and Michiyo Morikawa (piano), Artur Kaganovskiy (violin) and Eszter Kaganovskiy (viola), pianists Ilya KazantsevDizhou Zhao, Benjamin RossenMatei Varga, Mai Kagaya and Alexander Beridze.


About Fanny Azzuro

A graduate from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with advance degrees in piano and chamber music, she studied with Tuija Hakkila at the Helsinki Sibelius Academy. This solid background enabled her to succeed in many international competitions, including the World Competition in Cincinnati, the Washington International Piano Competition, the Lalla Meryem in Rabbat (Morocco) and Piano Campus in Pontoise (France).

Officially a Yamaha Artist, Ms. Azzuro is also supported by many foundations and sponsors, including the Mécénat Musical Société Générale, the Safran Foundation for Music, the Spedidam, the Adami and the Meyer Foundation.
