The Cultural Service at the Consulate General of France in Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Park District launched the first edition of Films on the Lake from June 21 to September 16, 2016.
Characterized by cinematic excellence, a diverse program including music and food, and accessible screenings, Films on the Lake presents the best of French cinema through a memorable experience to hundreds of Chicagoans all over the city. This year’s festival featured classic and contemporary French films, fiction and animated movies. It presented 4 films in 4 different locations to over 900 viewers
