  • Call for Projects: Brooklyn Falls for France
Brooklyn Falls for France will offer a multidisciplinary program of cultural events gathering theater, dance, music, visual arts, cinema, literature, new technologies, and the culinary arts. The events will take place in Brooklyn and will be linked to French-speaking cultures.
  • New Music Fund
Created in 2004, the New Music Fund (formerly Fund for Contemporary Music) was initiated by FACE Foundation and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy to encourage new commissions, residencies, masterclasses, performances and tours involving contemporary composers, musicians and ensembles. Conceived in partnership with Institut français, French Ministry of Culture, SACEM and Florence Gould Foundation, the fund also fosters co-creations between French and American composers. Since 2011, the fund has granted 800,000 dollars to more than 80 projects, including 15 commissions, 2 residencies and 8 tours in the United States, for more than 58 ensembles and a total of 200 concerts and recitals.
  • French-American Jazz Exchange (FAJE)
The French-American Jazz Exchange (FAJE) celebrates the United States and France’s shared passion for jazz. A program of FACE Foundation and Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, FAJE is designed to foster the creative and professional development of jazz artists from France and the United States. Beginning in 2018, FAJE program will encompass two complementary grant components: grants for French and American musicians (Creative Project Grants) and grants for American presenters booking FAJE collaborations (FAJE On Tour).
