Participants will receive (upon request) a certification of participation for the hours of the training that can be used to prove professional development hours. Please note that participation in each session is REQUIRED to receive a Certificate of Completion as the full workshops take place over two consecutive Saturdays (sessions of three hours each).

“Apprendre et enseigner avec TV5MONDE : le dispositif pédagogique incontournable à prendre en main” – Émilie LEHR

Join Émilie Lehr, as this workshop aim will be to encourage teachers to incorporate audiovisual materials into their classroom. Participants will thus discover the multimedia platform TV5MONDE and its educational resources. They will experience an original and motivating pedagogical approach, and analyze the principles of the “Learning and Teaching with TV5MONDE” process using a variety of resources. This workshop will also allow teachers and educators to integrate TV5MONDE resources as a complement to their textbook or course curriculum.

Objective

During this training course, participants will:

Familiarize with the Enseigner et Apprendre websites and the mobile application, and discover TV5MONDE educational resources.
Acquire skills to use various types of audiovisual documents as teaching aids, based on the target audience and the objectives to be achieved.
Learn to incorporate TV5MONDE resources as a supplement to their textbook.
Be able to develop pedagogical scenarios.
Determine how to integrate TV5MONDE into their course offerings and their institution’s strategy.
Learn to select TV5MONDE resources to create a customized course curriculum.

On the occasion of the Olympic Games scheduled to be held in France in 2024, the CAVILAM – Alliance Française is proud to present its brand-new Pedagogical Kit “Olymp’kit,” designed for this global-scale event. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the French language, Francophonie, and sports, all united around the values of Olympism. Discover the sports disciplines and the athletes, both men and women, who push their limits to qualify for the Games and achieve excellence in competition.

At the heart of this Kit, athletes from various national backgrounds, including Paralympic disciplines, embody the spirit of commitment, self-transcendence, and respect for rules and opponents in the context of competition. This kit is designed for a wide audience within an educational context, particularly for French world language or dual language educators, learners and teachers seeking to integrate it into their teaching methodology.

The webinar will showcase the different resources offered by Olymp’kit for an engaging journey, where language, culture, and sports come together to celebrate the Olympic spirit and the richness of Francophone diversity.

Join for a workshop led by the Centre de liaison de l’enseignement et des médias d’information (CLEMI) for a training focusing on audiovisual resources and that celebrate the unifying values of Olympism through the learning of French.

Workshop Objectives

Participants will delve into the realm of journalism and offer creative activities designed for FLE, all centered around the dynamic field of sports journalism. The workshop will unfold in two distinct sessions, each dedicated to exploring interview sportive and commentaire sportif.
