The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in partnership with FACE Foundation and New England Foundation for the Arts/National Dance Project (NEFA/NDP) is delighted to announce the 2017-2018 Grantees of the FUSED program (French U.S. Exchange in Dance).
This year, a total of $114,000 in grants was allocated to eight organizations presenting French artists in the United States, and to four organization developing a French-American collaboration in France.
As FUSED seeks to foster innovative artistic collaborations through meaningful exchanges in the partner countries, each project reflects the vision and diversity of French and American artistic creation of dance.
Highlights of the 2017 selection include artists and companies such as Hervé Koubi, Kader Attou-Compagnie Accrorap, Compagnie Käfig–Mourad Merkouzi, Germana Civera, Gerard & Kelly, It’s Showtime! Ensemble, Rosy Simas, Keyon Gaskin and the U. S. tour of Bouchra Ouizguen-Compagnie O.
