The Teens Library

On Nov 19, 2016 French artist Fanny de Chaillé created a unique performance project at the NYPL in Washington Heights, The Teens Library, inspired by the idea that anyone can be the author of knowledge and share it with others. Visitors were invited to choose from a catalogue of “books”—actually, people—each of whom related their individual story.

Tilt Kids Festival

The first edition of Tilt Kids Festival ended on April 3, 2016, after a month of outstanding performances, exhibitions and workshops, featuring artists from France and around the world. Arts for Young Audiences | Professional Forum

In conjunction with Tilt Kids Festival in New York City, the French Cultural Services organized a professional forum on April 1, 2016 on the theme "Arts for Young Audiences". The forum brought together 60 professionals, from various institutions and disciplines, to discuss various topics: Engaging young audiences through art; Presenting challenging subjects such as violence, war, racism, gender; Networks and Circulation of international projects for young audiences.
